Ainae-

Would it be possible or a good idea for you to put the ballots for the
different categories in the files section? This would let those of us
who have less time and are trying to get our ballots in order when we
can steal the time to get them really in order and just post them when
the category opens. It would be nice to have the list in an
easy-to-edit text format (as opposed to the table on the website),
complete with the identifying numbers.

I didn't get a chance to respond to this earlier. I just sat down at my
computer and posted my second Men ballot in case I didn't get home early
enough to get it out before midnight. I had wanted to slip a few more store
stories in, but oh well. Good thing there's an Amnesty Day. There are
still a few longer Elves and Men stories I hope to get to.

Anyway, I've been thinking about this request today and I think yes, I can
put them in the Files section. Just know this: Any votes posted before its
category is open will not be counted. So check the calendar and be sure to
post them on time but not early.

And not late. ;-) Save that for Amnesty Day.

Give me a bit to get them all in the Files Section....

I've got a lot of posts to get to. This has been a busy day on the
MEFAwards group. :-)

If praying for a hard drive doesn't seem completely off the deep end to you,
please pray for this.

My server has three hard drives. Two small ones where NT 4.0 and Windows
2000 Server are installed respectively. Then there is the giant 200 GB hard
drive where all my files are: writing, MEFAs and other web pages, pics of
kitties and Europe and everything.....

If I can't get that 200GB back, I'm in deep trouble.

To say I'm near panic is not an exaggeration. And I'm a tech support
professional. Which, in a sense, makes this worse because I know just how
bad this is.
