Simply hilarious. Writing oddball humour that bends the canon to the
stretching point without exactly breaking it is not an easy task, but this
piece manages wonderfully. The deadpan style is a definite plus, along with
all the little details (such as the l33t-speaking faeries or Haldir & Co's
biodegradable lembas-paper), which add to the humour of the story. The
presentation of the Valar as the cosmic equivalent of people who think the
famous "three plaster ducks in flights" is the height of artistry was my
personal favourite, along with the recurring "cunning plan". This is what a
Blackadder sketch set in Middle-Earth would sound like.
