> An interesting thought and a definite chuckle, I can just see the
evil witch king surrounded by Peter Jackson's fellowship, minus the
men of Gondor and cowering. Although it is an au ficlet it was quite
a fun read. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

> HuA3: Slightly Muddled by Lindelea
> : An interesting idea that was cute to read. I kept thinking that
those who don't know Tolkien very well would benefit from this fic,
especially in understanding that the characters just sound so silly
saying things like "cutting a rug". I did think that it was a cute
idea, the making them puke thing was a bit icky but all in all it
was well rounded and entertaining.

>> "ORLANDO: Yeah yeah yeah. Stop staring at me. Hell, I invented
that stare.", now that line did it for me, I starting giggling here
and then it was all chuckles and giggles after that. Incredible idea
and quite amusing too, this author made me interested in the fic by
throwing in amusing statements and by adding bits of ideas like the
Mary Sue Room. I was hoping Orlando would go into that room, the
fangirls would go rabid, then Legolas could save him, and the
fangirls would be uberrabid. A very good and funny piece of work.

ingenuity of the author has brought a few giggles and laughs out of
me today. Seriously well done and worth reading more than once.

> Oh my goodness I never stopped laughing and found this guide
completely hilarious. I absolutely love the "Trouble Shooting"
portion where details are given about what and why Boromir acts
certain ways. Goodness, I am still giggling.

and quite enjoyable. I liked how it was not too explicit and yet it
captured the imagination of the reader.

Absolutely hilarious! I started off with a snicker and then ended up
laughing so hard. What an ingenious idea. This author is extremely
creative and I had a great time reading the nightly news regarding
the Silmarillion. Now I hope there will someday be Hobbit and Lord
of the Rings editions.

The humor, tongue-in-cheek and silliness that make up this little
ficlet are impressive and very funny. Gimli's speech at the end
where he is telling Mairisuviel, (sulieth, suewen what ever the
ending should be) the ground rules, made me laugh out loud. This was
a humorous concoction of silly Sue snarking and I thoroughly enjoyed
reading it. I was impressed with the writing style, the way the
author weaved the litmus test into the characteristics of the female
character was unique. I would recommend this story to anyone who is
in need of a laugh.

What a cool story. It was enthralling and quite intriguing. And the
end was worth every moment of the reading of it. I never even
thought of that as a possible ending and I was surprised and thrown
off guard by the humorous ending. Well done.

This story is hilarious and is written with a very interesting and
completely unique plot. The author writes situations that have you
laughing out loud and the twist at the end is worth reading the
whole thing. Her characterizations and interactions between her
characters is incredibly written. The silliness and playful
atmosphere was delightful to read. I enjoyed reading this the first
time and then found myself gigging and laughing at new places and
different lines when I read it again for this awards review. I
highly recommend it, it will bring a smile to anyone's lips.

> This was a very cute story. Enjoyable and creative. The limericks
were very amusing and unique. It was a nice read for a Sunday
afternoon because it was light, silly, written well and all-in-all
sweet.

> Hu7: Legolas' No Good Rotten Day by Siobhan with inspiration from
Cassia

This was a short story that amassed a little raised eyebrow on my
part. I laughed a tad at Legolas's description of being disheveled.
The author tried to make it silly and in some parts it was.

> Hu8: Of Dwarvish Ale and Battle Scars by Aratlithiel
>
> A very creative and silly fic. I enjoyed reading the interactions
between Faramir and Frodo. The constant repeating of Frodo's words
by Faramir became amusing, especially when Frodo would chastise him
about it. The scar comparing was a bit unexpected for a humor fic
but then Faramir's injury from Boromir made it funny again. It was a
cute and silly little story.

HuP2: Boromir: The Owner's Guide and Maintenance Manual by Theresa
Green

Another wonderful owner's manual, every bit as funny as the rest. I
laughed so much the kids asked me what was up.

HuP5: Mairisuweniel Does Minas Tirith by Viv

Ha! Good old Gimli, the unenticeable. He'll take care of her, I'm
sure. I think you've got every Mary Sue cliché ever invented in
there, from the purple eyes to the telepathic animal friend, no
small feat. Truly hilarious.

Romance

HuR2: How I Spent My Summer Vacation by Claudi007

One of my favorite stories ever. Though it's wildly over-the-top,
you still manage to make us care about the characters, even as we're
choking with laughter. And you really nail all our little vanities
and flaws through Elladan. Hysterical and wonderful.

HuR7: The Conversation by sheraiah

I love this story to pieces. I can hear every word of it, and I'm
snickering right along with the boys. Excellent fic.

Hu1: Dance With Me by Jenolas

Ah, it's such a nuisance to be fair of face beyond measure of men,
isn't it? Very sweet and cute.

Hu2: Experiment Gone.Right? by Viv

Hehehe. "And he knew a thing or two about compulsion." That should
have been the give-away, but I stayed blissfully ignorant until the
very end. Who knows, it could work. She certainly wouldn't be the
first girl with a greedy and self-absorbed boyfriend. Thanks for the
laugh.

Hu4: Frogs by Lindelea

This is too, too funny, and so delightfully hobbit-y. I love to see
them like this, lighthearted and relaxing with a pint.
