Parody
HuP2: Boromir: The Owner's Guide and Maintenance Manual by
Theresa Green

Wonderful idea, and skillfully worked out (like the rest of the
„Guide"-series). And who ever isn't able to laugh when he reads
how to „handle" this gondorean warrior suffers from a complete
lack of humor (I'm still waiting for Theresa Green's permisssion
to translate the whole series into german – to make „my"
german speaking audience laugh as hearty as I always do when
I re-read it).

Parody
HuP6: Nine Men And A Little Lady by Kielle
URL: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/536905/1/

This was the very first real „funny" LOTR-parody I ever read, and it
still makes me giggle. Every trap unexperienced FF-writers with
a fateful urge to write Mary-Sues usually step in is listed here in a
hilarious and merciless way, and I tend to applaud each time
when this particular Mary-Sue finds her well-deserved end in
Gollums stomach. Great, kielle! (You teached me how to write
OC's without making them Mary-Sue's, and I will ever be
thankful, my dear. *bows in admiration*)

Hu8: Of Dwarvish Ale and Battle Scars by Aratlithiel
URL: http://www.lightindarkplaces.net/ODAABS.html

After having digested a good dozen of Frodo/angst-tales this
glorious story gave me a well-deserved relief... with a Frodo,
suffering from memory, but still able to commit deeds of truely
„hobbitish" mischief and a Captain of Gondor, drawn to an
extremely alcoholic adventure with a cask full of dwarvish ale.
The limericks the heroes produce in their drunken state, and
their „scar-contest" still make this wonderful humorous tale one
of the best funny LOTR-stories I know, and one of my
All-Time-Favorites.
