Featuring Haldir
RmH2: Khila Amin by Julie and Fianna

I found this fiction very well done. It was thought provoking,
intense, emotional and intriguing. I loved the interaction between
Haldir and the original female character. I felt like crying when he
called for her to "follow me". Ok, perhaps I did cry a little. And
that is what makes this story one of my all time favorites.

Featuring Legolas
RmL1: Eternally by Jennifer Lee & Ellbee
This was one of the very first Lord of the Rings Fan Fictions I ever
read. I think that was a lucky chance for me as I was able to see
excellent writing and a fantastic plot rather than the opposite.
From there I was astonished at the depth of the characters, the
emotional journey and the imagery that was wound through this
story. The creativity that these two authors displayed captured my
attention and I read through the whole fiction in one sitting. I was
enthralled. Not only do they portray Legolas as we all would like
him to be as a warrior, but they gave him realistic feelings of love
lost and then found.

Featuring Legolas
RmL7: To Have and To Hold by Lady Rheena

I started out reading this story with speculation and then became
addicted. The first person point of view makes the reader live
through all of Nessa's journeys and for me I felt it really made the
story more fun. I found this author had an amazing sense of humor
and was quite impressed that she could convey that humor throughout
her chapters. When she introduced the court ladies and then called
them the "Twitterers of Mordor," I laughed so hard I woke up my
youngest child. What I think I enjoyed the most about this story is
that the female character is on a journey and even though she won't
accept her fate, that Legolas loves her, the reader ends up hoping
that in the next chapter she will finally accept him. I recommend
this story to anyone who wants a fun and adventurous romance that is
not sappy or filled with angst.

RmI2: At Last by Jennifer Lee & Ellbee
This story has just begun and as its predecessor, Eternally,
captured my attention, this one has too. I think that the sadness of
battle has been written with extreme care to detail. I know that it
has to have time to build up to the climax yet I am so impatient for
the reunion of Legolas and the original female character. Begging
the author for updates might be the next step in my obsession with
this story.

RmI3: Elanor's Revenge by Julie & Fianna
This story intrigued me from the beginning. A friend told me about
it and so I followed her link and ended up reading until the wee
hours of the night. I became enthralled with Elanor and her plight.
I love the sexual tension they built up when they took so much time
creating the relationship between "Guardian" Haldir and his ward,
Elanor. I have sense followed all the updates, and was absolutely
thrilled when they finally became lovers. I am excited about where
they will take this story next. They have introduced new plot lines
and twists and now are featuring bits of Rumil, and this has caught
my attention. I can not wait for more.

Incomplete
RmI7: The Cursed Queen of Angmar by KhazarKhum

I was lucky I got to read this one when it was just posted and now I
have been reading it for so long. There are so many things that I
can say about this story. The writing is great. Simply put she
writes so well that there is never a moment where I think "wait
where did that come from". The characters are dynamic and vivid and
I am totally engrossed in their journey. The emotions are palatable;
the reader goes along with the characters never knowing which way
things will go from moment to moment. The plot is unique and
creative. A fresh approach to the Witch King and an original female
character is always a treat, and this author has taken incredible
steps to intrigue her readers. This story is highly recommendable. I
thoroughly enjoy reading it and can not wait for the next chapter.

Featuring Legolas
RmL2: In the Midst of Adversity by Maram68
This story is interesting and a definite new take on female
characters. I am impressed that the author is writing in her second-
language. The beginning captured my attention because it took place
in Rohan and also because the writing is so fluid. The pacing is
great and the adventurous atmosphere is very enjoyable.
