My8: The Next Step by Watcherchild

Very thoughtful story, but not what I would call a mystery story. I like
this story most of the four stories of Watcherchild. For me it belongs to
Silmarillion. The partner of this story is "The Truth of Ugliness" telling
of the other side the transformed Orcs. I have no quibbles with this story.
Finding the former Orc as a redeemed Elvish brother feels a bit as a
Hollywood script though.

The Nature of Starlight, The Next Step, That Way

Three of the four Watcherchild's stories were very thoughtful. But IMO these
stories belong into the category Silmarillion. "The next step" is for me the
best of the four I read.
