C4: Kings of the Sea by Eledhwen

All I can say is thank God Will Turner wasn't there. But this was an
entertaining way of getting Jack and the Pearl into Middle-earth. I
enjoyed seeing Elphir get time as an actual character. Light-hearted fun.

C5: Spirits of the House by Altariel

Not so much a crossover as a retelling of "A Christmas Carol" in
Middle-earth. But very enjoyable—I loved the interlude in Ithilien
between Faramir and his lieutenants, and that Denethor witnessed it.
Faramir's reaction at the end of the story to Denethor's changed
attitude was priceless.

C7: The Corsair Papers by Fileg & Flick

(whispers) All I know of Gilbert & Sullivan I learned from "The
Mikado". But I still enjoyed this, even though the dread corsair
Boromir inevitably dredged up associations with "The Princess Bride".
Loved the interlinear notes! Legolas' song was hysterical, as was
Sullivan's Christmas note to Gilbert.
