I enjoyed this, Eledwhen! I think you've got Sparrow's dialect and
mannerisms down pat, and I enjoyed the glimpse of Elphir as captain.
Aragorn seemed a bit stiff, as he might well be compared to J.S.! Taking
his king role a bit seriouslyı

C5: Spirits of the House by Altariel

This is a really upbeat version of A Christmas Carol (which I never liked
all that much). But seeing it with familiar LoTR characters makes it much
more compelling. I liked your choice of ghosts -- Adrahil makes so much
sense, given that many authors ascribe to Dol Amroth a greater cheer in
celebrating holidays, and that he is Finduilas' father. Mithrandir was a
pleasant surprise, and Finduilas was fitting. I thought that weaving in
Boromir's funeral boat was a nice touch. And I could certainly see why
Faramir was surprised and uncertain in his father's presence at the end!
