DI11: While We Dwelt in Fear by Pearl Took
This is an astonishing story, and explores the idea of "faery blood" of the
Tooks in realistic fashion. I love the way you expand on the original, fleshing
it out and breathing yet more life into it. It's very interesting to see what
was happening in the Shire while the Quest was ongoing, and seeing all
through Esmeralda's eyes was fascinating, especially the frustration that her
connexion was with Pippin and not with her own son, directly.

LOTR
O Pearl... somehow I missed this one. I was idly going back through
Marigold's "Best Bets" and found it, and followed the link, and was bowled over. Your
descriptions of what Pippin saw and felt and thought brought me to the edge of
my seat. You are an incredible storyteller, taking us right inside the
character's head. Great job!

D3: Following the Other Wizard by jodancingtree
What an epic of a story! It almost makes me wish Frodo didn't sail away to
find healing in the West. Only Jo could make me care for Orcs, of all creatures!
Her Radagast was a pleasure to get to know, her Frodo is so well-drawn, and
her Orcs are tragic and unforgettable creatures--and yet she injects her story
with hope and healing.

D13: Thinking of You by Grey Wonderer
I really enjoyed following this story as you were writing it. The
relationships you drew between the characters rang so true, and the love that was there,
resulting in desperation at first, that progressed to sacrifice, to wanting
what was best for the other, giving up selfish needs... Very well done.
