A Wrap-up before bedtime.... Winners, Post-Mortem, etc. Posted by ainaechoiriel November 15, 2004 - 1:52:32 Topic ID# 2792The Winners have all been posted (and correctly, this time, we hope!)
to two Winners Databases in the Database section. There's one
database for Authors and one for Stories.
Also, as you have seen by the great influx of posts in your
mailboxes, the Banner contest has ended. The Banner submissions
pages on the web site (and the Photos section) will soon be revised
to showcase the winners. Thank you to everyone who participated. I
started without any confidence in my ability to make a decent banner
and ended up having a lot of fun making them.

get your banners. We'll add a line to them with the category if they
need it. If there was a tie, you can choose from the winning banners.
Post-Mortem: Please take notes on your ideas. What worked? What
didn't? Suggestions for changes? We'll start the Post-Mortem in
December. That gives me some time to work on the web sites, notifying
authors who aren't members, etc.
And a surprise! I'll let you know more about this sooner! So don't
unsub yet! ;-)
For now, I need to get to bed!
Congrats again to all the winners and my heartfelt thanks to all the
members how joined, voted, lurked, volunteered, etc. I think you
have all helped to make this a successful first run, and I hope you
appreciated the feedback and comments on the various stories and
authors. I know I did and I'll be replying to those who commented on
me or my stories personally in a few days.
