Oh, dear. So sorry about this.
The Silmarillion Second Age has the wrong winners listed. Larian
pointed out this to me. I take the blame. I got the numbers mixed up
when I entered the totals in my spreadsheet. I had the 26 points for
Nol's story going to Larian's, etc.
So, here is the corrected list of winners for Silmarillion Second Age:
1 A Last Reckoning by Nol
2 Oath Renewed by Inglor
3 Seashell by Nol
Just so show the breakdown on this category though, here are the
counts (from the vote count totals database in MEFAStaff):
Code Story Author Count1 Count2 Count3 MainCat
S2-1 A Last Reckoning Nol 26 26 26 StorySilm
S2-2 It's In His Eyes Larien Elensar 11 11 11 StorySilm
S2-3 Mortal Shores Vorondis 19 19 19 StorySilm
S2-4 Oath Renewed Inglor 22 22 22 StorySilm
S2-5 Seashell Nol 18 18 18 StorySilm
We will have the final counts and spreadsheets available to MEFAwards
members soon. Tomorrow I hope. Just have to get them exported from
the Staff group and imported in here.
I will correct the winners database before I go to bed though.
Thanks, Larian, for catching this.

Ummm, it looks from the counts like Mortal Shores should be in third
place...
You must be awfully tired... It must be nearly 5 am there!

Oh dear! Another one?! Let me have a look. I went to bed at 3. It's now 10
though, so I should be refreshed.
Yes. It should.
Sorry, Nol, you only get one award in this category.
Congratulations, Vorondis!
Okay, so here are the winners...again:
Silmarillion Second Age
1 A Last Reckoning by Nol
2 Oath Renewed by Inglor
3 Mortal Shores by Vorondis
I sincerely hope this is the last mistake. Or I'm going to have to start
making excuses:
1) I stepped on a nail Saturday night. Could be an infection affecting my
brain.
2) I was talking on the phone to Dwim last night. We can blame it all on
her. ;-)
3) All the housecleaning I was doing was affecting my brain.
4) I have six cats! That just might be excuse enough! ;-)
5) I'm expecting a new nephew today, so I was distracted.
I'm sure I can come up with more if I need to....
