The subcategories Posted by Talullah April 01, 2005 - 3:52:44 Topic ID# 3592
Hi,

In the nomination form there is a field for suggested subcategories... I suppose I should have paid more attention to the previous emails, because I'm wondering exactly what's supposed to go in there. I've searched the old MEFA site but I couldn't find the answer.

Any help would be welcomed.

Thanks.

Talullah

Subcategories is pretty open. Ones we KNOW will be there are Drabble,
Poetry, and Incomplete. Everything else is a toss up. You can enter a
place, like Gondor, or Mirkwood, enter another category (like Humor or
Romance), enter something else about it like friendship, or the time
setting, such as 1st Age. They're just suggestions and the staff will use
them to make viable subcategores out of the huge main categories.

Thanks so much for your answer.

Another question, though: when is it expected to have the filters at the webste funcioning correctly? Or maybe they are already but they don't work for me. I'm always taken back to the login page when I try to use them.

Regards,

Talullah

Send that one to Anthony. It does work for me, so it seems to be a
particular glitch for you.

Sub-categories don't work for me either. I can view by a main
category but if I click on the drop down box for sub-categories, it
just shows the main category and nothing else.
