Change of Database name Posted by ainaechoiriel April 06, 2005 - 23:13:02 Topic ID# 3733
The database previously named "Stories Nominated in previous years" is
now "Inelligible Stories". Why? So we can also add Declined stories.
That way when you check to see if the story you want to nominate was
nominated before, you can also see if it was declined by the author.

I have aquestion about this: If a storyhas been
declined once does it mean that it is automatically
inelligable from then on? Or does it depend on the
author's reason for declining it?

No. I plan to clear out all of the declined stories after each MEFA year.
The author may change their mind someday. Now, if an author expressly says
"No and don't you every nominate any of my stories every again!" or words to
that effect, we might leave them in there. But anything with a year will
definitely stay.
