OT: Happy birthday to our founder, Ainae Posted by dwimmer\_laik April 07, 2005 - 8:23:03 Topic ID# 3739Although I don't have a Legolas drabble for her birthday (yet), I
thought it would not be out of place to mention that Ainae has
achieved official hobbit maturity and will be (I hope) off celebrating
today.
Happy birthday, Ainae!

Re: OT: Happy birthday to our founder, Ainae Posted by Ainaechoiriel April 07, 2005 - 8:55:22 Topic ID# 3739:D Thanks, Dwim! You're right. If I were a Hobbit.
And on a lighter note (because she probably only weighs 10 pounds or less),
one of my kittens is officially a cat today. Thumbellina--Belle for
short--is a Main Coon mix with grey tabby and tortoiseshell colors...and 23
toes! (She looks like she has big paws and mittens on.) She was born this
week a year ago, so I decided to share my birthday with her. I laid down
some new cat nip for her and my other "babies" and gave them a couple new
toys. Tonight, they'll be getting a birthday treat of moist food.
As for myself, I'm having an informal (because I can't possibly clean my
whole house tonight) party tomorrow evening and being taken out to a fancy
dinner (in formal wear) on Saturday. And this evening I get a free
adjustment at the chiropractor. ;-)
So if I get behind in admin work, now you'll know why. ;-)
As a mathom for my birthday, I shall endeavor to make the first MEFA 2005
nomination button, and maybe an Award Banner or two.
And I still want that drabble, Dwim. ;-)

Re: OT: Happy birthday to our founder, Ainae Posted by Cats and Werecats April 07, 2005 - 9:06:30 Topic ID# 3739Happy Birthday from me too, Ainae!
Kiss Belle from me! 10 pounds is rather light for a Main Coon,
right? My three legged boy Orpheus is at least 15 pounds, also
one year old. What's your kitty diet? ;)
Peace and Catnip,

Re: OT: Happy birthday to our founder, Ainae Posted by Ainaechoiriel April 07, 2005 - 9:25:27 Topic ID# 3739I'll do that when I get home this evening! I have a
very-neraly-full-blood-if-not-full-blood Maine Coon (Rigby) who is very
large, and yet only 11 pounds. I feed him but he seems more interested in
playing with food than in eating it. He's a very quirky cat. Three of my
others are MC mixes, to varying degrees. And Maine Coon's can keep growing
for two years, so Belle may still get bigger. As it is, she's pretty large,
but not overly heavy. She's bigger than Zmrzlina, who is a year older and a
little less MC. My youngest, Elora Danan, however is blooming quite a ruff
around her neck. She looks like a male lion, at times. And she's getting
pretty big at only 8 months. She may end up taking second place as most MC
in the house.
My oldest, is not at all MC, but rather half tabby/half Siamese. And he's
the 15-pounder.

*so* much easier than last year. More than that you've given us the
