I guess I might be missing the obvious, but a quick check of the website and the yahoogroup did not tell me: what date does Nomination Season close?

Marta,
The schedule in the rules section says nominations close on MAY 15.
Is that an error?

Re: Nomination season Posted by MarigoldCotton@aol.com April 13, 2005 - 12:23:00 Topic ID# 3873I know, I am panicking here, having several things that I wanted to nominate, but now I am not sure if I will have enough time as I am really busy the next two days.
I have my fingers crossed that it is May 15th, as I had thought!

There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for awhile. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.

Aaaaaaaaack! I'd better get busy! Somehow I had May 15 in my feeble mind...
Is it customary to contact the author and request permission before you
nominate? I know Sulriel did this for me (but then, she's extraordinarily
perspicacious and incredibly thoughtful...), but I think I've lazed around
too much to do it now... (which has some advantages, for many of the stories
I would have nominated already are...)
And where is that site where you can check for last year's nominations?
Aaaaack!
