Subcatagories? Posted by erin\_hobbit\_ofbt April 13, 2005 - 21:58:03 Topic ID# 3897
Greetings all ~

Help. Again. Is there some page or file somewhere that lists the sub-
catagories available for nominations? I'm working on a couple noms
(not my own stories!) and saw it leaves a place to type in sub-
catagories .... but I don't know what they are. I "borrowed" a couple
I saw listed on my own stories, but otherwise I'm at a loss.

Is there a standardized list anywhere? Thanks for answers and
patience! :-)
Cheers ~

Erin

Hi Erin,

There's not a standardized list, sorry. When I'm suggesting, I usually
list several key things.

1. time -- for Silm, First or Second Age, Last Allliance, etc. For
LOTR, pre-WotR, post-WotR, gapfiller, or something like that.
2. place -- Wherever it's set. Rohan, Gondor, Shire, Rivendell,
Gondolin -- you get the picture.
3. characters -- any key characters that are involved.

For example, lets say I wanted to nominate

If you want, you might find the list of categories we used last year to
be helpful. You can find them at
http://gabrielle.sytes.net/mefa/final2004noms.html -- click on any
category, and it will list the name of the subcategory beside each
nomination.

Hope this helps! And you're welcome for the nominations, it was a
pleasure.

Marta
