Re: viability report 19Apr05/WIP question Posted by Kathy April 19, 2005 - 12:19:37 Topic ID# 3975
Hi Marta,

I have a question about WIPs...am I right in thinking that they run
separately from completed stories? So that, for example, if I
nominated a crossover WIP it would not help make the crossover
category viable, and in fact would be by itself in a category with
(at the moment)only one entry?

thanks,
Kathy

Hi Kathy,

You're correct. Incomplete stories compete only against other
incomplete stories. So you're right, if you nominated an incomplete
crossover it would have to compete in "Crossover/incomplete", not in
the main Crossover category. If "Crossover/incomplete", it would be
moved to the incomplete subcategory of one of its second or third
category choices.

Does that make sense?

Perhaps they were finalized after I sent out the list. Anyway, because you
asked, I looked and they were both Complete. Though I changed one of them
back to Incomplete because it was missing a 3rd choice category. That was
"Together in One Breath".
