I thought I'd take the opportunity to inform everyone about the Author
Groups. If you are nominating a story by 2 or more Authors, it should be
listed under an Author Group.

On the Submit a Story page, you see a drop down for Author. If your Author
Group isn't in there, see the links below that.

Author not in the list? Click Here!
Author Group not in the list? Click Here!

You'll need to use that second one. But to do so, both (or all) the authors
need to be in the list as individuals. So, if you have, say, a story by me
and Dwim (fake story here). You should first look in the drop down list to
see if we are already in there as a group (and individually while you're at
it). If we're not in the Author Group not, you should click that second
link. Pick one of us for Author 1 and the other for Author 2.

If you can't find one of us, you'd have to go back to Author not in the
list? Click Here! so that you could set up the missing author as an
individual. Then go back to the Author Group link.

One more thing. The authors in an Author Group will always be sorted
alphabetically by their nicknames. This system does not distinguish
between Author1/Author2 and Author2/Author1.

Therefore, the group that we have is listed as:

Clairon/Raksha the Demon CoAuthors

If you want to see if the group you want exists, it will always be
sorted right next to the first author alphabetically.

If you want to find all the author groups, search the user list for
'CoAuthors', as all author groups have that in their 'nickname'.

I guess I should have put 'CoAuthor Groups' instead of Author Groups on
the link text. All references to Author Group have now been changed to
CoAuthor Group on my development server, er... PowerBook, and will
appear in some future update.

I tried creating an author group today following Aine's instructions
and kept getting an error message ...

but I still want to nominate the story ... could I get some help please?

You probably already did this, but are all of the authors in the data base as individuals? That's all that I know about it : )
