Another Question : ) Posted by MarigoldCotton@aol.com May 05, 2005 - 14:44:59 Topic ID# 4154I'm wondering if there is a listing of the stories where the author has declined the nomination, so that they are not renominated by anyone?

There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for awhile. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.

Those should be listed in the Ineligible Stories database on the YahooGroups
site. I Do a search for the author and you'll see which stories are listed
as ineligible and why.

Check out the "ineligible" database at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/mefawards/database/ . This is where we
put all stories that were nominated last year, and also the ones we
have withdrawn this year.
You should search for the author's name, not the stories. Some authors
have asked that *all* of their stories not be included in the awards,
so searching for the title won't turn this up.
