attn MEFA Admins - incomplete nominations - help please Posted by Liz May 23, 2005 - 19:49:30 Topic ID# 4400
Hi

A few days ago (checks: 19 May, to be exact) I sent an e-mail to my
liaison, copied to the MEFA admin address, with corrections/approvals
for a number of stories that were nominated by Elena Tiriel on the
last day of nominations. (I couldn't edit the nominations myself as
that feature was disabled by that point.)

The nominations are still incomplete and I haven't had any reply to my
e-mail, or one I sent a couple of days earlier to my liaison. I'm sure
all the admins are very busy and inundated with e-mails right now, so
I basically wanted to check whether my e-mail had been received, or if
I needed to send it again.

Most of the stories are drabbles, but at least two stories were
incorrectly classified as drabbles and need to be reclassified as
ficlets. I also mentioned that a couple of stories which were
completed before the true drabble/ficlet/drabble series distinction
was made are classified as drabbles but are drabble series or ficlets.

Do I need to do anything else to help you approve these nominations?
I'd really appreciate knowing what's happening

Cheers, Liz

I saw it, but I wasn't going to assume your liaison wasn't going to do the
work. Now, though I guess I will.

Karri, I really do have enough to do without this. Really...

Ainae, if you'd like I will process these nominations if you can give
me the permission. Forward me the emails and the appropriate login
information (or assign Tanaqui to me) and I'll handle it.

Or you can handle it yourself, whichever is easier.

Thanks, Marta. I took care of it and now a whole lot more stories are ready
to be subcategorized.

Thank you Ainae - those look great, and I appreciate it was a lot of
effort to make all the changes I asked for so my stories were
categorised the way I wanted them.

I hope everything is OK with Karri, as I've not seen her onlist for a
while and haven't had a reply to either of my recent e-mails to her.
(That was why I copied you in and put a note that I wasn't sure if she
was around.)

If anyone who knows her outside this list could let me know she's OK,
I'd appreciate it, as she was very helpful to me earlier in the MEFA
nominations process.

Thanks, Liz

I haven't "seen" her around of late, either.

Re: attn MEFA Admins - incomplete nominations - help please Posted by sulriel May 25, 2005 - 8:08:44 Topic ID# 4400
I notice that three nominations / two authors / that I nominated are
still incomplete.

BarrowWight and Jastaelf.

I've emailed with both of them and know they are pleased and excited
about the nominations and both told me they approved their
nominations, and are expecting to be included in the reviews and
awards.

I spoke with BarrowWight on the phone a few minutes ago and he said he
would try again to reply to the nomination email, formmally accepting
his nominations.

Is there anything else I can do to help in the process??
