Anyone know these authors? Posted by Laura May 24, 2005 - 17:43:17 Topic ID# 4417
Hey guys,

Just as a warning, I'm double posting this email to both the staff list and the awards list. If you're a member of both, don't be surprised to see this email twice.

Anyway, I'm having trouble locating three authors on my liason list, so I was wondering if anyone out there was better acquainted with them than I was. The three in question are:

Aramel
Gayalondiel
Saeriel

Now, I was able to contact Aramel early on in the nomination season for one story, but there have since been 5 more stories crop up and for some reason I can't get back in touch. Gayalondiel and Saeriel I haven't heard from at all. I don't *think* it's my junk mail filter, but I could be wrong. Anyone IM or email these people frequently? I'd appreciate any help you could offer!

Cheers and thanks!

Hi Laura,

I know Gayalondiel, and have seen that she has commented on a couple of LJ's recently though she hasn't posted anything on her own since 11th May. I commented on a comment that she had made to someone, and in it I let her know that she needed to respond to complete her nominations - that was over a week ago I think.

I also sent her an e-mail about it a good two weeks ago, but she has not answered.

I will send her another, but it seems to me that she is not interested in participating, but if that were the case she could let someone know...Maybe she has something going on in RL that is keeping her from fandom stuff.

I will send her another e-mail right now : )

Hugs,

Mari

There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for awhile. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.

I know Gayalondiel has an LJ. You might try there. I'll ask one of my
friends that is on her flist if she can get ahold of her for you.
