Welcome to The Big Anonymous Fanfiction Tales Awards (Baftas) which
are running for the first time in the Tolkien fandom.
Nominations will open on June 1st 2005 at
http://www.livejournal.com/community/baftas/
These awards are quality based and all fiction, art or poetry
nominated will go through a rigorous voting process. Nominating and
voting is run by all who wish to participate through filling in
nomination and voting forms.
We work under strict rules to ensure fairness and quality and have
taken as thorough measures as we can to discourage all kinds of
cheating.
Please have a look before dismissing us.
Kind Regards,
Admin Anonymous

minimise fandom politics, fangrrling and to promote an award system

It's okay to post a message like this but not if it's the only reason you
joined. Also, you might want to reword it. "Welcome to" makes it sound
like we already joined up.
