Odd question Posted by dwimmer\_laik May 27, 2005 - 22:46:14 Topic ID# 4439
I recall that last year, having paragraph breaks in a review messed up
the character count, and so we made sure we didn't include any.

Is that still a problem this year? I'm just thinking it would be
easier on the eye to break up some of those 9 and 10 pointers,
provided it won't mess up the count.

I'm really not sure. I'll check into it when I'm back from retreat.

Re: Odd question Posted by Larian Elensar May 28, 2005 - 14:21:26 Topic ID# 4439
I think that was because we were putting it into excel. That's not necessary
this year. When I was putting my reviews in, (I put them in as tentative) once
I clicked save, it gave me the character and point count right away. I just
tested it on a few reviews by putting it into Word and checking the count, and
they matched. The only reason those line breaks messed things up is because
when they were present, all the data wouldn't fit into the proper excel cell.

I don't think it's an issue this year.

Yes, I think that's correct. It was Excel that had the problem with
paragraph breaks.

Thanks, Larian
