I've been saving all my votes as Draft or Tentative. I know is said that the
draft votes wouldn't be used for final counts, but that tentative would, if
they weren't converted to final votes, but I wondered if it would be okay to
finalize some votes now? I know I won't go back to the stories and re-vote.

I just wanted to ask if we finalized the votes, can the authors see them?
(That's what the site said). Should we *not* finalized the vote until voting
season begins/ends?

Hi Larian

It's my understanding that even finalised votes aren't visible to
anyone besides admins or the voter until voting season. The difference
between the two types (again, as I understand it) is that final votes
are counted, made visible to other members of the website, and posted
to the Yahoo group at the beginning of voting season or when they're
entered into the website if that's during voting season. Whereas
tentative votes are counted, made visible to other members of the site,
and posted to the Yahoo group at the end of voting season. Clear as
mud? Let me try again, because that is a bit confusing.

As soon as you cast any vote it is visible to you and to the site
admins.

If the vote is "draft"
- it will never be visible to anyone else
- It will also never be counted.

If the vote is "tentative"
- it will be visible to everyone who is a member of the site at the END
of voting season
- it will be counted at the end of voting season
- you can change your vote through the end of voting season.

If your vote is "final" and you cast it before voting season
- it will be visible to everyone at the beginning of voting season
- it will be counted at the beginning of voting season
- you can change it through the beginning of voting season

If your vote is "final" and you cast it during voting season
- it will be visible to everyone as soon as you cast it
- it will be counted as soon as you cast it
- you cannot change your vote
