I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm new to the group and to
fanfiction in general. A friend just told me about it and it's a lot
of fun, especially since I've loved LotR for a long time. I'm looking
forward to this as an opportunity to read a lot of good new fiction.

I have one question though: I see how to log on to the sight where the
stories are listed as a guest. How does one get a user name for the
site to vote? I've already read a few there that I'd like to leave
reviews for. Thanks.

You just ask for one. If you're a member of the group, we create a
log-in name and password for you. (You can change either if you like by
editing your profile.) Just in case someone hasn't sent you your log-in
information, I'm resending it privately.

Thanks to everyone for the help getting me logged in. I'm ready to
review now. This is a great site and a really cool idea for a way to
do awards.
