Check ballots are coming Posted by Ainaechoiriel June 06, 2005 - 23:11:16 Topic ID# 4515
Sorry for the delay. Partly because we have had twice as many nominations as
last year and partly because of the MEFA2005 site posing a different process
for us, we are late getting these out. Fortunately, the next season wasn't
Voting Season but Reading Season. So you could have been reading anyway.

We've had most of the categorizing done for the last couple of days except
for 2 poems that couldn't be put in any of the 3 choices for categories. I
finally made a decision to put them in the LOTR category this evening as we
haven't heard from the author.

So, get read. Check Ballot #1 is coming. (That's actually 23 different
Check Ballot #1s, one for each main category.) What you may not know is
that we've had 3 subcategories graduate up: Gap-Filler in Books/Time and
Gondor and Rohan in Races/Places. Making a total of 23 main categories

What are Check Ballots for? For checking, just as it sounds. Looking for
errors, lost URLs, wrong author names, etc. So, read the check ballots and
point out any errors for us in replies. I will post the #1's today and try
for #2's tomorrow. That should have us finishing with #4s by Thursday.
