The Feud of Shadow and Light (1290): Havetoist
PG-13, Reason for Rating: Language
Romance Partners: f/m
The Feud of Shadow and Light is part of a much larger work, an AU spanning
from the Last Alliance to the War of The Ring. For this original AU LOTR
world, Havetoist has created the Rohme, Noldor elves loyal to Feanor. The
Rohme were the worst of the kinslayers and were doubly cursed by the Valar,
exiled far to the east with their skin changed to a golden hue, a visible
mark to signal their taint to all other elves. During the milennia of their
exile they developed many ways and customs different from the elves in the
west of Endore, including a different language. They also spent the time in
exile redeeming themselves with many acts of valor against the forces of
darkness. During the Last Alliance, two great royal houses of the Rohme
enter into a blood feud that will not be resolved until shortly before the
Battle of Fornost The Rohme are Havetoist's. All of the characters are
original. The language is Hungarian. Translations of terms appear at the end
of each chapter.

End, knowing that Bilbo is immune to this illness -- but Gandalf is unaware
that a tweenager is now living there. An AU look at Frodo's early life with
Bilbo; how he met Gandalf; and the "chance meeting" which inspired Aragorn's
dedication to the safeguarding of the Shire.

When All Lights Pass (349): Werecat
PG, Reason for Rating: disturbing images
Romance Partners: n/a
Set at Pelargir after the Battle of Fornost, this story deals with a young
man suffering from the Black Shadow, a desperate mother and two strange
travellers, one clad in grey and one in earthen brown. They say that the
hands of the king can heal... and there were other kings in Arda before
Aragorn’s time. Probably AU, this story also draws inspiration from
H.P.Lovecraft's "Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath".
