Quirky Orthodox has just asked me why her Doom of Mandos story has
been moved from Alternate Universe to Lord of the Rings. It is
definitely an AU story as it follows what might happen if Galadriel
had accepted the ring from Frodo.

It was moved because Alternate Universe\Incomplete was not viable. Her
second choice category was Lord of the Rings. So it was moved to Lord of
the Rings\Incomplete.

Just sent her a note, but she's in England, so she probably won't see
this until tomorrow (our time at least). I'm not her liaison and have
no access to change anything, but will she? Because probably there
should be an AU warning in the summary? Here's what it says right now
... I mean the summary itself pretty much tells you that it's AU, but
perhaps to be on the safe side?

Don't mean to bother you, when I know you are all so busy trying to
lock down these categories ...

a WIP, or a poem or anything?

Thanks, Marta, Ainae replied earlier -- it was a WIP and so it was
nonviable and so it got moved to the second category where it would be
viable ... now we just have to figure out if she will be able to add
AU to the summary. Do you know if they get locked when the categories
are?

It's all right, Ainae and Marta, she has stayed up late and just
contacted me ... I'll get her to change the summary herself. Easiest

You're right that the summary pretty much shows that it's AU, but it was a
simple change so I added (AU) to the end of the summary.

I will post the Final Ballots before midnight tonight. But right now, I
need a nap.

Hi Lea,

At this point I'm pretty sure that authors can't edit the information.
It has to be done by their liaison, or by an admin (like Ainae or me).
How does she want the summary changed? If you can email me that
information I'll change it myself (unless someone else gets to it
first, of course.)
