I copied this from the Rules so that I could be sure that any helpful
criticism I might have for a story didn't move the score into a
higher level. It's worked great so far - I have only done it twice,
and the score both times was under 6. But if you'll notice, there is
a problem once you get to 7. 7 is 651 to 800 and 8 is 701 to 950.
What should the number of characters be for those?
"points | characters
1 1-100
2 101-200
3 201-300
4 301-400
5 401-500
6 501-650
7 651-800
8 701-950
9 951-1100
10 1101+"
Thanks!

There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for awhile. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.

Oops. I'll have to fix that on the mefa site. Anthony, you out there to fix
