I do hope all our members are safe and their families, too. I hate
terrorism. It's almost too hard to put into words. My sincerest condolences
to anyone who lost a friend or love one.

Thank you Ainae. I am fine and so is Llinos, and I heard that Rhapsody was on holiday in London with her husband that but they are all right.

I am so pleased that the members of the fandom that have been planning to come for a visit in August have all written to say that they are not changing their plans - good, we can't let the ba***d's win!

There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for a while. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty forever beyond its reach.
