It's nice to hear that those of you who are new to the group notice.
I'm glad to help. I can't believe how much time I've put into this,
though. I need to stop listening when my wife (Elana) says, "Hey Honey,
do you think you could do something for this group I'm part of?"

Seriously, I enjoy doing it, though sometimes it gets pretty close to
burn out. I was there not long after we kicked this off in April/May,
but I've had a nice rest now.

By the way, I just peeked into the database, and there are, at present:

1247 stories
1063 stories with tentative or final reviews
1102 stories with reviews

3041 total reviews:
315 draft reviews
1781 tentative reviews
945 final reviews

Author Reviews:

295 distinct authors
18 authors with tentative or final reviews
19 authors with reviews

2 draft reviews
1 tentative reviews
57 final reviews

Before voting season starts, I need to finish up the pages that will
let you READ all those reviews. What is currently there won't do at
all. I've already made a lot of progress, and I think you'll all like
it. If it works right, you'll be able to mark the reviews you've
already read, and will not have to sort through them all to find new
ones, but will be able to go back and look at old ones when you want
to.

Before you ask, no you can't read them yet (Not even you, Elana!). When
Voting Season starts, there will magically appear a 'Read Reviews' link
(or several, at appropriate places), and all the final reviews will
become readable. If you want people to be able to read those 1781
tentative reviews at that time, you'll have to go make them final (but
once you do, after Voting Season starts, you won't be able to edit them
any more).

As new final reviews are added, they'll come up at the end of the list.
At midnight after Voting Season is over, all the tentative reviews will
be added to the end of the list (in something sort of related to the
order they were written, but I can't guarantee anything there because
I'm kludging that part on).

In two weeks' time, you should be able to get your eyeballs on those
first 1000 or so final reviews.

Happy Reading,
Anthony

*Deer in headlights look*
On my best day I can power up and get online without getting a migraine.
You rock Anthony.
Elana, you're a lucky girl. So many women I know in the fanfic world have
husbands who aren't even aware of what they're doing and yours is even
pitching a helping hand. As my husband always tells me when we discuss the lack of
spousal participation, "Every husband should no the joy of playing crash test
dummy for the make-out scenes."

Cheers to you both,
Jes

He'll even read my stories if I pester him enough.

Well, yes, he's done some of that too. Not that I always tell him
that's what's going on. ;)

My husband has very kindly volunteered his services for research in that
department.
