Okay, I think our standard size rule is going out the door next year. I
think it's stymied some creativity. I know it has made it harder for me to
make banners. To date, I've only made 10 and all for one award at that.
Thundera Tiger, on the other hand, has found time for hundreds of reviews
and dozens of banners. I think she's secretly getting at least 3 more hours
in a day than the rest of us.
Anyway, we need banners! And quick. On October 1st, we'll start voting on
them. So we need something to vote on!
These categories don't have ANY banners yet:
Hobbits
Humor
Romance (I've got some in mind for this one)
Non-Fiction
The Hobbit
Lord of the Rings
Post-Ring War
These awards in other categories don't have ANY banners yet:
Rohan: The Helm's Deep Awards (I've got somethign for this one, too)
This is the break down for the categories that at least have some banners
(1st, 2nd, 3rd):
Men: 1,1,1
Elves: 1,3,2
Dwarves: 3,3,2
Villains: 1,1,1
Cross-Cultural: 4,3,2
Gondor: 2,1,2
Rohan: 1,0,1
Adventure: 3,2,1
Horror: 1,1,10
Mystery: 1,1,1
Crossovers: 1,1,2
Alternate Universe: 1,1,2
Movie-verse: 2,2,1
The Silmarillion: 1,1,
Gap-Filler: 3,1,1
And so far I think we have only 2 submitters. Maybe 3. So please, put on
your creativity hats and make some banners!
You can see the current banners at:
http://gabrielle.sytes.net/mefa/awardbanners.html
If you make any, put them in the appropriate folders in the Photos section
of the YahooSite AND e-mail them to me. If you don't e-mail them, I may not
know they are out there. And if I have to get them from the Yahoo site,
their size will probably be distorted and I'll have to edit them, making
them look even more distorted (that happened last year). So e-mail them.
.jpg's please.

Thanks!

If someone can point me toward something like this, I have several
awards I want to do banners for.
