MEFA2005 software updated Posted by Anthony Holder August 10, 2005 - 22:27:01 Topic ID# 5044
Hey all,

I've sent Ainae the most recent update to the MEFA2005 site. She
installed it this morning, and it overwrote an important configuration
file. We had a backup, but during the time between when she installed
it and we fixed it, the site was unavailable, as Dwim noticed.

FYI, error messages like that are very helpful, but you should probably
send them directly to me, possibly with a cc: to the group.

You won't see too many changes with the update. Most were reading
season things that you've never seen before (because they didn't
exist).

If you nominated more than 10 stories, or had more than 10 of your
stories nominated, the list of stories on the 'overview' page will now
come in pages. The two lists will always be on the same page, and have
the same number per page, because the paging code isn't supposed to
have two lists per webpage.

There may be a few others. I've been collecting various things I've
noticed and people have mentioned while working on the review reading
pages.

Once reading season starts, be sure to let me know asap if there's
anything that doesn't seem to be working right.

Anthony

Thanks, Anthony. I figured it must not have been too serious, since I
could get back in later that day, but for a second there, I was
convinced my browser hated me.

Anyhow, in other site-type news, HASA is down for scheduled server
maintenance tonight. Should be back up tomorrow, but it puts a cramp
in my reading efforts, it does, preciousss!
