Voting Season is over, FanArt Season is on! Posted by Ainaechoiriel October 03, 2005 - 0:46:12 Topic ID# 5589
While voting on stories and authors is done, you can now vote on the Awards
Banners (see the Polls section on the Yahoosite).

We will announce the winners of the story and author awards soon. There may
be some tweakage necessary. By tweakage, I do not mean that we'd change any
vote beyond some necessary stuff, like putting block quotes around too long
story quotes, or moving a misplaced review to the right story or author,
etc.

While last year we had 15 days or so to count the awards with 3 individuals
counting each review and having to agree to the character count before it
was official, this year we have an automated website that should do the
counting and assigning of awards for us! It will even break the ties!

What we don't have is an overal Honorable Mention banner or some
insufficiently reluctant volunteer (unless I've forgotten which I have been
known to do) to make those lovely little bars on the bottom of the winning
banners for each of the awards.

I'll go ahead and make the 2005 Honorable Mention banner myself. I took 900+
screen caps off the DVDs so I'm pretty sure I'll have something suitable.
We can always go with something else next year.

In the meantime, have fun voting on banners and reading reviews!
