Okay, I just finished up my voting for the banners, and it took a very
long time, even when I was using the photo album at the Yahoo group in
a separate window to look at the pictures instead of cutting and
pasting.

Can any member make a poll? I'd like to experiment with creating a
poll using img src tags and see if we couldn't look and vote at the
same time. If you've already tried this and it doesn't work, by all
means say so. I know you can do it at LJ, but I haven't got much
experience with yahoo.

As far as I khnow, you can't put pictures in the polls at Yahoo, but that's
also why the banners are hosted on the mefa website. You can have them in
separate browser windows or tabs. Also, they don't come with artists' names
on the website, which is a good thing. Keeps people from voting by artist
and not by banner.

Do you mind if I try? That is, if I'm able to do polls. The way I'm thinking
about it wouldn't involve seeing artists names either.

I've never tried the img src tags, though that sounds a lot easier than
our current system of providing links. If you'd like to create a poll
to try things out, that's fine. It might work better for you to wait
until after October 15 when the ccurrent polls close. This is just so
people don't get confused.

Personally, I don't mind doing the polls somewhere besides the Yahoo
group, if that would work better and won't create confusion. The only
thing I'm hard-nosed about is that there's one poll per banner,
wherever you hold one. But I don't think you're talking about one poll
at Yahoo and another at LJ or wherever.
