Greetings all ~
I've been meaning to do this since the awards were concluded, but
didn't get my act together until now! :-p Anyhow, I just wanted to
take a moment to say thank you to everyone who left their wonderful,
generous comments for me.
Dwimordene, Sulriel, obsidianj, Thundera Tiger, Azalais,
nerwen_calaelen, Marta, Lindelea, Werecat, Rabidsamfan, Dreamflower,
annmarwalk, Leaward, Ainaechoiriel, Bodkin, Vistula the Dunadan,
Rhapsody, Marigold, Tanaqui, elliska ... I hope I haven't overlooked
anyone. Thank you for the gift of your words, for the generosity of
your time in taking the moments needed to so brighten my day. :-)
It is in fact hard for me, no matter how many times I hear it, to
really grasp that people like my writing *that much*. Each kindness
is a gift that I can never take for granted, so to all of you, know
that I treasure each review, each comment you so generously gave me.
And to everyone who has read my stories over the last four years and
sent your regards by whatever means ... you are also my blessing.
The true beauty of fan fiction is that we do not write or dream
alone. Thanks to my readers, thanks to my fellow writers, thanks to
the encouragement so inherent to the LOTR fandom, I am a better
writer than when I came. :-)
With love,
Erin

*snork* Erin, you crack me up.
I've been doing two things. Tying up loose administrative ends, and
letting myself relax thoroughly with things other than Tolkien. ;-)
Specifically I've been watching old Halloween movies (funny/drama
rather than horror, you know like "Bewitched") and re-reading HP:
Goblet of Fire.
We're due to start the post-mortem on November 1, so stick around for
that. It's just two days away. :-)
Oh, and if you have anything you particularly want to discuss, feel
free to email
mefasupport@gmail.com . To make this manageable, we'll
only discuss a topic or two at a time. I'll present the topic, and the
discussion can go from there until a decision is made. But this isn't
to limit the discussion to topics I like or am interested in - if
anyone has a topic they want to discuss, email that address and it will
be brought up.
