Hey guys,
This came up in a message from chibi-kaz, and I thought everyone could
use the reminder.
If you are an author competing in the MEFAs, a volunteer, or a
participant in any other way, there may come a time that we have to
email you. We don't do this a lot but if we do need to contact you
it's important that the message gets through.
All official email will come from one address: mefasupport@gmail.com .
If you have a spam filter you should make sure that your email program
will not catch emails from this address. This can usually be done by
telling your email that the address mefasupport@gmail.com is safe and
should not be treated like spam.
Here are the official instructions from Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL, Netzero,
and gmail (Google's email) on how to make sure messages aren't marked
as spam. For most of these instructions you will need to be logged
into your respective email's web interface, for example,
http://mail.yahoo.com/
Yahoo
We make a concerted effort to email that you want directly to your
inbox. If you believe that a message delivered to your Bulk Mail
folder is more appropriately delivered to your inbox, please click the
"Not Spam" button at the top of the message. The email will be
automatically forwarded to a Yahoo! Customer Care associate for
careful review.
Yahoo! will attempt to deliver the future messages from the same
sender to your Inbox. You can help increase this chance by adding the
sender to your Address Book.
If you continue to see these messages in your Bulk Mail folder and you
would still like to receive them in a different folder, you can set up
a filter to redirect them to any folder you wish. You can find more
information at filters help.

5. I don't seem to be getting e-mail someone else is sending me.
First, check your spam folder if you have one. (If you have AOL 6.0 or
above you may access your spam folder by going to Keyword: Spam Folder
or by visiting your mailbox on AOL 9.0 and above) If you find the mail
is in your spam folder, just hit the "This Is Not Spam" button when
you open it. If this has happened repeatedly with the same sender, try
adding the sender's address to your address book.
If you find that you are having problems with mail being delivered to
the spam folder, check the settings on your account, which you can
find at KW: Mail Controls.
If the sender is sending from an AOL address, please have them contact
the appropriate branch of Member Services for help.
If the mail is not in your spam folder and the sender is not another
AOL member, please contact the sender of the mail and have them visit
our Troubleshooting page to start diagnosing the problem or the sender
can contact us.
Hotmail
