Because I had written some and thought I'd posted them correctly, but
they're not showing up. So before I tried again, I figured I'd better
confirm that everything had been posted-if there were lots (and here's
hoping there were!), I thought it might be possible that they would be
posted in two batches or something.

switchover to being publically readable happens sometime on Sunday... ?

I'm pretty sure they're supposed to post in weekly batches, I
thought on Friday, but that may not be right. I finalized a bunch
last week and they don't seem to be showing up yet, so maybe they'll
be available on sunday.

OK, I had gotten the impression somewhere that they went up on Fridays.
Whew! That's a relief! If that's the case, I'll go do a few more.

There is an FAQ somewhere that says Friday at noon (I think) is the
day and time they go public, but last week, when the system was first
supposed to do that, we discovered the timer wasn't set to Friday.
IIRC, it wasn't until Sunday that the reviews became visible. I don't
think anyone is quite sure of the exact time.

Hi Isabeau,

Reviews are released in weekly batches. I'm not sure of the exact time,
but last week it happened sometime between 10 PM Saturday and 2 PM
Sunday (US Eastern TZ). That's the last time I checked when it wasn't
there, and the time when I saw they had been posted.

I also just checked and saw that you had written reviews for two stories:

"Great Heart" by Raksha the Demon
"Trust" by Dwimordene

These two reviews are final, meaning that they will be visible to the
group once this week's reviews are released. Which should be sometime
tonight or tomorrow morning.

You also have entered a draft review for

"Red River" by Altariel

Draft reviews are not counted. If you want this review to count you will
need to change it to either a Hidden or a Final review. Hidden reviews
are not visible to anyone but you until the awards are over, but they
will be counted at that point, and you can edit them at any time through
the end of the awards. Final reviews are visible immediately (as soon as
the weekly batch is released), but you cannot edit them after we get
into Voting Season, September 1. We're now in Reading Season.

In order for your draft review of "Red River" to count it will need to
be changed either to a Hidden review or to a Final one. To do this, you
need to:

1. Log in to http://www.mefawards.net/MEFA2006/
2. Click "Browse Nominated Stories".
3. Find the story. The easiest way is probably to type the story's title
into the search bar below the drop-down lists and click "Search".
4. Click "Edit Draft Review" in the right column beside the story you
searched for.
5. Change the story's status from draft to hidden or review and click
the button to submit the nomination.

The page should load back to what you saw when you first logged in. That
way you know you've saved the review correctly. You can close the window
and it will take you back to the page where the nominations were submitted.

You can do the same thing to change what you say in a certain review.
Only instead of changing the type of review, change what it says.

You've accounted for them all, which makes me much happier-I was really
afraid I'd managed to lose them or something.
